Why it’s a good cheap date

The pasar malam is Malaysia's original cheap date. Set a budget, split it in half, and each of you picks something the other has to try. Apam balik, Ramly burger, kuih, tebu juice. It's a tasting menu for the price of a single café latte.

- Bring small notes and coins. Some stalls still don't take QR.
- Do a full lap before buying anything so you don't fill up at stall one.
- Split everything so you get to try twice as many things.
